Cajón Alter-Nativ

Pure creation of Fen&Cole Cajons by Christophe Vuittenez. To date, there is no recorded copy of this double tapa cajon concept. Named in 2017 as the Double Face, it finally found its true name in spring 2022, the Cajon Alter-Nativ!

A poplar plywood tapa cut into two distinct slopes provides surprising tones reminiscent of Djembe sounds. The bass tones are enormous. On the opposite side, another striking surface in birch plywood with a dry snare drum sound and distinct and deep bass. Meranti plywood for the body. Snare drum timbre. Thick rubber feet.

Now, without changing percussion instruments, you can go from Death Metal to Salsa!
